I dropped my RC8 back in for the 3rd time to sort an engine oil leak and to sort a Niagra falls sized leak from one of the front forks. The engine leaks started when the engine got one of those warranty rebuilds. The bike is still in Warranty but they are telling me that KTM don't cover the fork seals as they are considered normal wear and tear.

Has anyone else had the fork seals fixed during warranty?

wot kind of mileage has it got, fork seals are usually not covered, but you may have an argument for a warranty claim if it is low

About 4K Kms. The real pisser is that they almost certainly burst because I've had to tie the bike down on a trailer so many times to bring it up to N Ireland for warranty work. There is no dealer in the South anymore. They went to the wall about 2 weeks after I bought the bike.

Mine went in the beginning of the summer, I couldn´t be bothered to take the discussion. It´s a piss simple job to do yourself.
