right my 990's front sprocket is totally shagged :mad:
17 T or 16 T who;s done what :D
I have a knackered 16 was planning to go 17 as I mainly 99% road work
whadda you think ?????

I changed down to 16 and won't be going back. Cruising at motorway speeds has improved as top gear is up by about 500rpm and just puts me in a bit more power when I need it. Around town it's perkier, just better all round in my opinion and fuel economy hasn't been affected negatively, if anything maybe even improved.

Agree 100%. Both mine are running 16T fronts and I won't be going back to a 17T.

I swapped to a 16 when I had standard wheels. When I swapped to 19/17 I went back to a 17 front.
