Hi I'm new to this forum but I'm just wandering if anyone knows how much a second hand GMX Alloy fuel tank would cost and what they actually do that makes them so expensive brand new...

Thanks in advance to any replies :)

GMX tanks are fecking awsome, and hand made thats why they cost a fair amount.

Had one made for my dads cr500 SM when I restored it, gave them the origonal tank and off they went.

Its a work of art imo and worth every penny.

and they restored the rads too, from a crumbly banana shaped mess into a strengthened like new unit.

Top work, top guys.

Guess this is a good thing lol I have one on my ktm sx 85 how much do you think it's worth, still not sure why that much money would be spent on a fuel tank I'm shocked lol

cos its cool, years ago the factory bikes ran alloy tanks, and you had to have a metal tank to run on the road too.

no doubting they are very well made , but why would you want something that dents , scratches and adds nothing in terms of performance, money better sent else where is my 2p worth
