Right, just read lt. I have a moto g50 which is in the same range I think. I've now discovered that mine doesn't have a compass so not really useful for sat nav duties. The g8 might be the same. It's also called a magnometer.

According to Google the G8 does have a magnetometer which can be used as a compass. Give me a shout if you want to try it, I don’t need it back👍
