can anybody recomend a good but reasonably priced helmet light for winter nights laning, looked at some of the mountain bikiing ones, some are reasonable and some are 200 quid, Whats best?

mountin bike light will do, but best are trail tech, depends how quick you want to go,

its not as easy as you think riding at night.

lumicycle. I have these on my mtb. Very bright, different beam angles. I use the halogen ones. The lights can actually be made up with parts off flae bay. Then just buy the battery or wire in to bike as they are 12v. Only last about 2-3 hours on full charge. So wiring in would be advisable.

we (adventure-spec) sell visionx led lights, helmet mounts and battery packs. The battery packs arent cheap, but we supplied Chris Salt with them for the Dawn-to-Dusk and he got over 7 hours from one pack at the full 900 lumen output. They also work well wired in.
Depends what you want to do but its an option
