Hi guys, just wondering if anyone on here been to kirton off road centre?

Been looking at it and thinking of going to the pay and play weekend 24th/25th.

Or is anyone local that can shed some more light on this place??

Thanks

Been a couple of times. It's big but it can (depending on recent weather / where they lay out the course) be very wet!!

Eats brake pads too (especially if wet) so be sure to make sure you've got fresh ones in or spares with you.

Yeah was thinking could be very wet this time of year. What with out English weather!! The boy is looking forward to it so may give it a go and check weather leading up to the weekend we plan on going.

ive been kirton off road centre and its pretty decent. all old quarries are slippy in the wet so dont let that put you off. theres plenty of wooded sections too.
i havent been for a while but on a saturday night theyd put a band on, burger van and beers were £1 per pint :)

whats brilliant is seeing some poor old wife thats been talked into going to watch for weekend, then seeing every bloke sniffing around her after 3 beers as shes the only bird there!

It depends what you enjoy doing. When it’s really wet and bad weather it’s just deep mud and rutted everywhere. Not much fun and nowhere to really open up. Horses for courses though

Normally £25 at cowm I think. They do an enduro track specific day once a month and every other weekend is free reign a apart from when they do the 4x4 day once a month. There's 2 mx tracks suitable for kids depending on how old they are.

That's a pretty fair price and looks quite good I took a look! I also see they do the enduro events every other weekend and will definitely be looking into this place a bit more :)

Just looked that up mate definitely worth a shout. Have you been many times before? Just wondering what it's like on the enduro?
there is a reason Knighter, Jarvis, walker and both Bolts ride up there <img src="http://www.ktmforum.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />
Very true indeed!!!

I can imagine when it's really wet it's not fun at all totally get that mate. Going to take a look and see what the weather is like around that time but this time of year is never great anywhere.
