I lowered a 640Adv, in this case about 1.25", dropped the forks too of course.
As the 640 stands so high it can afford the height loss.
Koubalink make lowering gear for a multitude of other bikes too.

terry rudd motorcycles is a main importer for kouba link but if you mail direct to kouba they will send direct to you at half the cost but you will have to take a chance with shipping as the uk customs might fuck you with import duty ,kouba will ship at your risk under their import threshold of £35.00 but you will not get any insurance cover ,i did it and it was ok about 10 days in all well worth it if you can afford it. oh by the way i got the ktm one link ,im 5'9'' and i find it was just right ,takes about 1.5 hrs to fit if you grease all of the linkages properly, but i am getting the seat altered , with gel pads ,as the standard seat is a real monkey butt torturer
