Hello All.

is there an option for a rear power accessory socket on a 17 1290 SAT?

I want to put power into the Givi Expedition top box. sp i can can charge small items such as Cameras, Phones, Tablets etc etc, I have looked at the GiviS111 power Hub connector kit

and the KTM kit

but both need somewhere to plug into. my previous bike (Triumph Tiger 1200) had a rear power accessory socket, so looking for something similar for the KTM

I also want to be able to disconnect the connector from the topbox when i need or want to remove it.

I'd imagine you'll have ACC1 & ACC2 power leads under the rear seat as does my SAS and previous SDRs.

ACC1 I recall is +12V when the ignition is on and ACC2 +12V permanently. You could run a lead somewhere to aid the quick disconnect.

HI KTMMarkey, I have removed the headlight assembly, and used the power accessory socket for my SatNav, that was very handy and saved me splicing into the loom. ill check under the seat of my SAT for the accessory power cables, if there that's exactly what I need. Thanks KTMEir.
