Hi,
I own KTM E-XC Freeride, daily commuting it for one year now. I rarely do offroad altough it is fun as hell.
I am considering getting a second set of supermoto wheels, as I ride mostly street and enjoy cornering.

Does anyone have ever converted from e-xc to e-sm? I know I can get the original e-sm wheels, but is it the only option? They are too expensive for what they are (very small, regualar wheels).

  • I was considering regular wheels from bigger exc's. I own SMR 560, tried, rear is way too big, axle the same. Front, big but fits, axle is thicker on EXC, hub with spacers wider.
  • I am conaidering wheels from duke 125, 200, or 300. Anyone tried, know their specs? I know that 125-200 rims should fit as they are 3 and 4 x 17, but i don't know axel sizes or hub widths etc.
  • Are wheels from Exc Freeride the same as on E-XC? This would open more doors as I could look for supermoto wheels for Freeride.
Any info appriciated. Thanks.

I think I will end up buying SM Pro wheels or original e-sm wheels. SM Pro wheels are slightly cheaper and they might also add cush drive - waiting for their confirmarion.
