Looking for grip recommendations

Got the standard KTM orange grips and I find the grips hard & the bike vibey, compared to my Jap off-road bikes (waffle type)

Bike has heated grips (KTM type ) underneath the existing grips and would it be ok to peel off the old grips, whilst not wrecking the HG elements

Have some ODI bolt ons, but would they work with heated grip elements???

What’s your recommendations?

I use Pro Taper pillow grips on my bikes with PHDS(softest elastomer). I also used to fill the bars with bathroom silicone, don’t bother now as I have a TPI.

Well, I went left field and went for some soft Ariete ones (non waffle)

I was in Ripon and popped into Eurotek Enduro and saw the boss man’s new Sherco 300 being prepped for next weeks Romaniacs event

He had personalised his bike with the Ariete’s and I had a feel & thought yep, they’re soft & nice

Nipped upstairs and bought a pair for £14 (they had Renthal & Progrips too)

Fitted them this afternoon and the old ones came off easily (with a bit of brake cleaner)
Heated grip elements intact too
Punched out the ends with my Motion Pro grip cutters and fitted them
15-20 mins to fit & refit hand guards and they feel good
Heated grips still work and now seem hotter than before for some reason
Job jobbed 👍😋
Thanks for all your help

As far as I know the soft ones all wear quickly. I really loved these, though their colour is looking weird.

Dual Series - Grip Tech Aramid : 1/2 Waffle

They are tacky and I'd say mid-soft and I like how they feel. Though Renthal says they last long, they don't.
Nah Anne! No need to search the shed, it's not important, I was just curious.
