I’ve recently had gearbox done on my ktm 125 got it built back up kicked up after few kicks left it ticking over for half hour cut it out put it away when I came to get it out next day just wouldn’t start. When I checked I’m not sure I had rubber head gasket in properly so I’ve ordered new top end gasket kit and changed them all again cleaned carb checked spark compression is fine really got me baffled anyone with any suggestions?

Wow, you don't leave 125 2 strokes ticking over at all let alone a lengthy period. You can give it a quick warm up on the stand, choke off, then go ride it. You can't really put the head rings in wrong - you put them in and then drop the head without twisting it. I would guess if it was running ok otherwise that you have flooded the cases letting it tick over. Usual solution is to get a longish push in second, keep dropping the clutch while still being pushed and it will fire up. Bob
