So...got the bike in the shed post it being returned by the insurance company. Gave it a quick clean, stripped the front off and plugged in the new ignition barrel. Charged the battery for 10 minutes and the bike started immediately...

All bloody great...but how how do I get the old ignition barrel off the top yoke? Looks like its in good and proper...

From the dearth of responses it looks like I'm a trailblazer!

I figured it out and now have the new ignition barrel fitted. I'll not explain how I did it in open forum...
