If I bought a bike fitted with a power commander and a non standard exhaust how difficult is it to get back to standard? The exhaust is just a 'slip on' can so that's not really a problem. It's the power commander does it replace the bike's ECU or just plug in to 'help 'it? Will I need to remap if I remove it and how can I tell if the bike needs remapping ( apart from rough running etc). I would prefer to run a standard bike for when I attend cycle events. There's a GTR 1400 for sale locally at a dealers and I want to be ready with some info, I know it's got these fitted from the advert.
