As some of you may have seen after riding a CRF 450R supermoto for the last year and a half I've got myself a 2009 KTM 450 SMR and back in Team Orange!

Aside from a ported head, Beringer cast disc, SXF Ti header and Ti Akrapovic can it's pretty much standard.

I'll keep this thread up to date with any further mods.

If anybody has any mods or performance upgrades then please chime in.

Re the sticker request a few weeks back...ive not seen an rsv4 since....there was one at the local bike shop but it's gone.....so, I still want some....just need to find a sticker to get a measurement from!

Even though you say it's been ported get the porting checked on rebuild ....mine had been done but on rebuild DCR said it was a shite job ....had him port it and it was a massive difference

Rebuild every 40hrs and piston at 20 and you won't have any problems....know it's a trek for you but I'd get DRC do it ...quick turn around good price aswell

High boiling point brake fluid
Stick to genuine Brembo pads ....always have a spare set
14-48 gearing
Suter slipper
25psi front and back
Oil and filter every ride
K and N pod filter
Drilled air box ....DCR drilled mine on dyno run to suit
Stick to michelin slicks
Always have it on trickle in garage

Last one....don't bother with a quickshifter
