Okay, so the actual process of repacking the exhaust isnt an issue for me, more conerned with what packing i should be going for?

Do Akro make a kit, or can i litterally get the packing wool off of ebay and repack it?

Cheers

Akra kit will last longer.

If you are going to use cheap wadding, do a light wrap of stainless wire wool first, stops the wadding coming out ;)

That ebay kit is now in my garage, do i have remove both end caps or can i repack from one end ?

The kit comes with enough rivets to do both ends & you even get a new akro sticker:cool:

Both ends, slide the sleeve off, pop new mat in with the gauze (if used but should be - does what Kev say above, stop the wadding getting blown out) over the perforated tube, slide the sleeve back on (lockwire helps keep the mat in place, remove before finalising the sleeve), re-rivet and voila! Job done... but get a real riveter, stainless ones supplied break hand riverters and your hands, big concertina thing's really needed tbf!
