Hi.

I wondered if anyone might be familiar with the spec of this male 12v connector plug please, which connects to the female socket of TomTom's powered mount for a Rider 550 sat nav, that I've been using for ages.

I am moving over to a Garmin Zumo XT2 and wondered if I could reuse my power cabling for the TomTom, by putting a compatible female socket on the power cable of the Garmin mount?

Cheers

I've been told that these barrel connectors are a TomTom patent design...

So the only way I might get hold of a female connector would be to remove one from a Rider 550 dock (same one as for the 40/400/410/500).

If anyone has a knackered TomTom dock they do not want, please get in touch! :giggle:Ta!
