Seat Cover Stapler - Recommendations Please

I've ordered a replacement seat cover and am looking for a suitable stapler to have a go at fitting it myself.

I don't want to buy anything electric or pneumatic as I wouldn't use it enough to warrant the expense. What type of stapler and size of staples does anyone recommend?

I recently had two to do and realised that, for my seats at least, I needed a stapler with a 'nose' to reach down into the tight recesses. I have several heavy duty manual staplers but non of them were suitable as they couldn't put the staples where they should be.
I did however find that upholsterers like beer.

You can warm the seat base with an air gun and try a HD stapler but an air stapler is super easy to do it with. The snag here is you need a compressor and a stapler. If you have neither the upholstery method might be better?

I’ve tried it several times over the years with various results and lots of agrevation.

So I went and found a small local upholster who fits them for me for £10 and they look as good as factory fitted, with no aggravation 😉👍
