smc... husabang... husqy..?

Hi guys,

I've had my beakster for 3 years now and in spite of what the giga thread says the bike has been faultless.
No stalling, no electric issues, nothing wrong whatsoever. And it's been great, great fun too. :D:D
I have enjoyed it and still do!

But I'm starting to think where to move next. I guess I would like to have two bikes – one for longer trips,
other (more hardcore than 690 SM) for track but still street legal and with semidecent service intervals.

What bikes should I consider? 690 SMC, Husqvarna SM 510 R, Husabang 570, Prilla?

Beers on me! :smokin:

You won't get much sympathy with sensible questions, will you?

SMC - it comes with a slipper, decent brakes, decent service intervals and you're not restriced to go kart tracks.
No semi decent intervals with a 'prilla or a berg, the prilla is pretty shit as standard and the berg lacks power
Husk is nice from far but far from nice, not ridden one, I'm sure they're not bad but they look a bit cheap when you get up close unless its an RR.

Thanks for comment!

I assume you have ridden both, 690 SMC and SM 510. What are the differences? Size, weight, speed?

To me Husqies seem lighter and more racy but also a bit agricultural/homegrown.

And BTW, which is more realistic conversion: 690 Enduro to SM or SM to Enduro?

Or spend about £2000 on a 650berg, 05 on and have a bike which gives
you a bigger hard on than pamela anderson sat on your lap every time
you take it for a blast:666:
