HI There

Has anyone measured a 560 connecting rod? (all the dimensions?)

I cannot get a new kit form KTM or any other after market supplier.
Looking to see what size the bearing and big end is so that i can source any other part that might fit!

Anybody have any idea how to proceed?

Who has made other parts fit??

what I can find is the 525 is 95x72, 530 is 95x72 and the 560 is 100x72.

PROX has the 525 conrod+bigend set as 03.6520, the 530 has 03.6528. the 525 conrod is bigger and longer!
principle differences 03.6520 (525) - 6528 (530):
big end (crankpin) diameter: 35 - 35
big end (conrod) diameter "O": 43 - 42
piston pin / small-end diameter "o": 20 - 19
distance "O" - "o": 129.0 - 120.80

if you have the engine apart you could measure the stroke, small-end diameter and approximate the big-end to small-end distance. should get you somewhere. at the back of the PROX technical parts catalogue there is an overview of the conrod dimensions and which part nr they are, then its comparing which is the closest to what you measured.

Most people use a 525 rod and install a spacer at the cylinder base.

Or buy a Carrillo rod from Thumper racing. Send cranks to them for rods and welding

I know F all about these engines but won't fitting a spacer mess up the cam timing because the chain length will not match the deck height? I guess you could slot the sprockets?
