I saw it parked today in a pretty iffy location. I dunno if he knows its a very bad estate across the road - and there are other bad ones all round. My 950 was stolen from around the corner. Well dodgy area to park KTM's...

It had a chain through the rear wheel - so thats good. Not sure what other security it had, but I hope for his sake the chain is a good-un and its got an alarm or something else..

Also, its worthwhile putting a bike cover on it - so ppl passing by cant see its a KTM. I had an oxford stormex & a couple of 3-quid bicycle locks to lock the cover to the wheels.

So what is it that makes KTM's such targets for theives in London?
High performance. Good suspension. Great for smash & grab robberies.

I think, also, its just a very distinctive bike, so its got a lot of street cred amongst the bruvs, innit.
