i helped colin 01 do his and if i remember right you remove the adjuster knob (circlip underneath), remove all the allen bolts and tip the old oil out. to refill place the unit in a small tub (we used an ice cream tub) and submerse in oil then rebolt up whilst still submerged. we tried 5,7,10 wt oil and i think he settled on car engine oil as non of the others provided enough resistance.we tried to find proper instructions on the web for the ktm damper service but couldnt find any.colin may post up when he sees your dilema!
