Finally got round to checking the subframe whilst the bike is in bits... any ideas on how to straighten asides from some upwards persuasion with a large hammer?

Not out by a massive amount but will help with refitting the exhaust. Tail piece bears the scars of its initial owner’s crash course lesson in riding a big bore smoker.

Slide something long inside the tube and carefully lever the whole piece into alignment. Bashing on the ends will cause more distortion. Knowing which bit needs bending what way is tricky. One probably needs to go up, one down and all slightly to one side. 😂

Localised moderate heating will help. Try and only do it the once to avoid fatique cracking.

It’s not that bad... it’s just the end, the main part of it is ok... the end is where the top exhaust bracket is though.

Ridden for 9hrs, looped a few times and sold... I tend to bail out the side door...

Either leave it or buy an FMF Shorty.
