Changed my originals at 13,000 miles. Fronts were very low, less than a mm left. Rears were about 2 mm+ but replaced the lot with Carbone Lorraine which I prefer to the Brembos.
My front brake groan is now more noticeable though.

 

Brake Pads are they the same as RC8 ?

 

8k for me - replaced with OEM Brembos - does include a few track days..

 

Mine where done at 6k but that included a 3k road trip to the alps

Well I've got a full set of the FA447HH waiting in the Drawer was going to fit them to RC8R but sold it and they are the same ones . So they will be going on the SUPERDUKE never had problem with them used them for years.
I see U are going for Extreme have U put on some Pound's twice the price of normal Double H

 

The EBC EPFA is a step above the standard FA447HH, then there's a super duper one for racing.
The SBS is the Street version not the Race. Has good reports, so I'm thinking that'll do. Now where did I put that no squeal shit. Not replaced the pads on the SDR before, looks like a simple caliper off and click out, click in jobbie.

I have the EBC FA447HH on both my Panigale and my Superduke GT and am very happy. But like someone above said, they are like tires...and Oil....

 

For a simpleton like me, what can go wrong? Too much anti squeal? Just clean off with brake cleaner or is there something else for the job?

 

You need a bit of GT 85 on them

 

When KTM changed my discs and pads they gave me 75% against new ones, they had 4000 mile on them.

 

Mine were under 1mm at 6k miles - lots of enthusiastic urban miles though.
