Hi has anyone out there successfully had the suspension lowered on an S adventure? I ride superduke 1290 r but want to try and get an S for more touring. Have heard of a Mizu collar etc but KTM say the bike shouldnt be messed with (which I guess they would say). Dont want to mess up the semi active stuff so hoping there is a solution. Or does anyone know who makes lower seat options or custom made etc. Might be a solution without messing with suspension.
Cheers

I lowered my 08 990 Adv by getting Eurotek to service the shock and fit an internal spacer. Then I fitted handlebar risers and poked the forks through the yokes to match. Handled great. I had to shorten the sidestand too.

I kept the shortened shock when I sold the bike, you can try it if you like?

On my 950SE I fitted a 950 SM rear shock to lower it, this would also fit the Adv so that's an alternative route you could take.
