The main problem with this was - I went to the dealer on my SMT, if I'd taken the GS my impression might have been totally different
- 1 - Compared to the SMT it feels asthmatic
- 2 - It is heavy - but admittedly it doesnt feel its specified 263kg
- 3 - The diff between the touring and sport map is not that significant
- 4 - the exhaust is fugly
- 5 - the handlebars are much too wide (even compared to the GS)
- 6 - Has nice low down grunt
- 7 - the seat is quite low
- 8 - the fuel tank (weight) is high
- 9 - cogbox is a bit clunky in 1st and 2nd

I didnt play with the suspension settings at all, but the setting it was on felt comfortable if a bit soft
You will have to work real hard to wheelie this machine

Otherwise - it didnt get my adreneline flowing :dozey: dont think I'm gonna rush out and buy one

If it had knobbly tyres probably, but with its road biased tyres it could be scary

Good review that on ADV - very comprehensive.

Still looks like a varadero.
