Anyone using a Transit Custom as an enduro bike hauler?

will it fly in to an L1? Or is the L2 (Lwb) essential?

Not looking to convert into a day van or sleeper, literally just to get the bike to and from anywhere.

We have a new L1 Custom Sport with a Risk Racing lock n load fitted near the offside - fits perfect. When we ever need to take a second bike, we just lean it on the locked bike and strap it to it.. Plenty room still for all else we need plus a portable toilet. Bob

For info you can also get one bike in the back of a crew cab L2 as long you put it on the diagonal. Not tried it, but apparently If you remove the lower plastic bulkhead it leaves enough room behind the rear seats to get them in straight.
