I have an 08 200 EXC my rear tyre is knackard and although the H&H season is nearly over for me I will be green laning through out the coming months and maybe the odd practise track.

Anyone got any tips on a good tyre out there thats fairly hard wearing medium/hard and grippy? doesnt have to be road legal but im just concerned it wont go through the MOT if its not.

Was looking at the Michelin AC10 or MC12 XC anyone tried these tyres?

Thanks

You dont usually get a hard compound tyre that is also super grippy?
The worse tyre I have ever had is the standard KTM Pirelli scorpion
Michelin give good feed back

got an ac10 on my spare rear rim that i use in winter and cant fault it, good grip and pretty hard wearing,

i must admit though i do prefer my dougie dunlop 773's especialy in the soft stuff, it's like havin tyres made out of super glue and give me megga confidence,
down side is they round off quick on the hard stuff.

i buff the not for highway use off with a flap disc on the dangle grinder, the guy that test's my bike says if he cant see it he cant fail it.....

I swear by AC-10 on rear. Someone I know had a Mitas C02 and got an mot failure, god knows why (jobs worth).
