Kids coming home from school later. End of year for my eldest. WTF!? Still working at the moment until lockdown comes, it can’t be far away.

Apart from drinking what’s everyone got planned for lockdown?

I have a bunch of house jobs to sort, painting etc. Garden jobs and then the good stuff. Crank bearings on my trials bike to change, new fork seals also, re valve my husky forks and maybe new bushes and seals. Grease husky linkage and head bearings. Workout what new parts and kit I need for when life starts again. Find stuff I can build some trials sections in the garden with and use trials bike. Watch YouTube. Play mxgp2 on Xbox.

Linkage bearings to replace and re-grease the swing arm on my trail bike.
Just got a cable for TuneECU so might see if I can stuff up the perfectly good fueling on my SD990. :)

Also got a shit ton of garden work and the whole house needs decorating (apart from the kitchen).
Loft full of stuff to sort through and also a big shed full of stuff, basically we need to de-clutter big style.

That's not to say that I'll actually do any of that.

I would have been doing this anyway as we are retired....
Loads of garden stuff, outside decorating, some diy.

Biggest annoyance is my new Triumph is only 125 miles away from it’s first service so, unless the dealer will still be working, that’s my limit on riding. Could go trail riding but could be injury risky, which is a bit selfish, or just have fun on the road on knobblies.

We're under quarantine since a week now. Well, I have a special written permission to leave home as I work for DHL.
But today they sent me home...

I did not leave my sofa the last ten days (except the three hours per day I work for DHL). I look like a fat, ugly pig. OK, I looked like an ugly pig the last two decades but that I am so fat now is a pain. Fitness club is shut down, riding my Gasser isn't possible. We just sit around and and wonder what's going on. I am bored as I can't go to the pub, can't meet me friends, can't drive to my garage to play with my bike... And today the government enforced a curfew until at least April 19th. :/

Shuffling about recovering from hernia opp - had it done few days before they stopped doing non emergency stuff.

Did all the grease jobs on my trials bike recently, so cant join in on that one.

Planning and finalising stuff to do with house renovation project and planning increased security for existing and work-in-progress bike workshop.

Looking at options for next dirtbike.

Working through netflix.

Trying not to eat too much.

Trying to stop shouting at the television when watching all this unfurl - hope l dont get the virus as coughing and stitches are not compatible.

Pleased to see no-one has given it the "I'm gonna do whatever I want because this is all a load of scaremongering".

I've been wanking from home for about a month now anyway. Only have 2 weeks of work left. Was taking April off to do loads of riding and fitness but will have to shelve the riding. I really want to go but it is irresponsible to put yourself and others at risk when the NHS is going to be crippled anyway. Also, am actually quite ill with a normal cold/flu thing - no fever or coughing, so guessing it's not coronavirus??

So - have lots of greasing to do on all three bikes. Change brake pads on two. Maybe fit the 250 kit back on the EXC. Planning on doing lots of exercise but gonna be hard to lose weight with extra emergency biccies in the house. Obvs, netflix (no chill though, I'm married)... so try not to kill/be killed by the wife.

Probably spend too much time on dumbass web forums..

Good luck everyone. Hope you and all your families get through ok.

Key Worker so life goes on as usual for me, 4 on 4 off.
If severe lockdown happens and not allowed out to cycle/run then I suppose loads of gardening plus mrs has allotment that we can access from back gate.

Mostly cycling, mostly outdoors. I can be off-road within 30s of leaving the door.

BBQ! It's BBQ season!!! Sure it's cold, sure it's windy, but BBQ is gooooooooood

I for one will keep of my bikes as God forbid if I ended up in A&E the doctors are going to be far from impressed & I owe it to the older generation as many will need the urgent help during these times.

Porn hub ?
Completed it mate! Lol

  • At the moment Im still in work, although strangely there doesn't seem to be a dwindling number of people buying a boat, so were just hoping to get by for now on servicing and maintainance. If we are forced to close, there will be a bit of diy and spend sometime with my family, take the dog for a walk and stuff. Im missing the bike already though.
