What lifting/haul/grab straps are you using?

Evening all.

I've been looking at getting a pair of lifting straps for my bike. I've helped my brother out of the odd hole using his, and they certainly saved my gloves getting filthy. There seems to be a few options. The KTM ones are actually the cheapest, but also look the cheapest. Acerbis only seem to do a front, but it looks more comfortable to use with a thick 'pipe' look to it. There are also a set of Apico ones with a similar thick look to them. I've read a few bad reviews of the Kriega ones, but I've been around long enough that people on the internet don't generally say when something is good, just when they have a problem, so results can be a bit scewed. All the options seem to come to around ÂŁ30-35. If it makes any difference, my bike is a '16 EXCf.

Front: KTM Powerparts are nice - they have the little bit of elastic which means they tighten up when you pull them. I'd consider them to be better than the Kriega ones, which have metal buckles and will mark the forks/triple clamps.

Rear: i wouldn't bother actually, you can get your hands in the mudguard nicely these days as it's been designed that way, you don't need a rear strap.

Apico stuff is garbage.

Cheers, I've got to order some stuff from gear4 , so I'll get the KTM ones. The other thing that put me off the KTM ones and towards the Acerbis ones a bit was taking the forks off to fit the KTM ones, but I hadnt thought about the buckle on the Acerbis ones rubbing the forks. I may get the rear one as well, as even though it got the moulded in grab handle on the left and my bike has got a power parts grab handle on the right, I sometimes find it awkard to lift straight up, and other people usually end up lifting under the fender.

I'll have a think over the next couple of days if theres anything else I need.

Thanks

I've got Kriega straps on my bikes. Think they have been on 4 bikes over the last 10 years so paid for themselves about now.
The buckle does rub the forks/triples. I tend to wrap some insulation tape around the forks so the buckles don't mark them. As for the rear one, after this weekend's enduro practice I am going to put them back on as there was so much mud on the built in ones it was crap trying to get a decent grip.
