I have a 200xc road reg that i use for green laning.

I think the XC has a close ratio gearbox, and closed cartridge forks, were as the EXC doesnt.

The XC also does not have a stop light or horn or the option for one unless you change the loom(which isnt a major problem).

Nor does it have a headlight as standard, but the XC loom has headlight and Tail light plugs, so its just a case of getting a EXC headlight and connecting it.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I think you mean a XCW (wide), as KTM stopped making 4 stroke XC models in 2009.
The XCW is pretty much the same as a uk EXC except it migh not have lights, clocks (some do)

The 400 would be ideal for green laning.
