I’ve seen a few pictures of the updated SAS but can’t really see much difference except for the orange sub-frame? Is this just a cosmetic updat?

just bought a 2022 as I was told nothing new for 2023

Hi
Saw this on Adventure Rider a while ago.

seems to show a face lift at the very least.
I had heard that there was to be a version with a 17inch front wheel a la Multistrada Pikes Peak but nothing recently

cheers
Steve

You can see a perfect storm brewing here.

Most people will have just had, or are about to have a huge mortgage increase, on top of huge utility bills, interest rates way up, new bike costs way up, that PCP renewal will be crippling for many.

I can see a huge stack of end-of-deal PCP cars and bikes piling up soon, particularly bikes, people need the car to get to work, I can see them taking a second PCP term on the old car, but bikes being handed back as owners struggle to pay the bills.

Possibly a return to end of year deals from all manufacturers, I can rememeber many years ago at around this time deals on everything, even BMW would give £1750 towards a deposit and a grand of luggage to clear out a load of unsold GS's, I remember as when I bought my Super Tenere every dealer regardless of brand had mega deals, I got 20% of my Tenere, a mate got 20% of aTriumph Exploder - George White had used bikes at a grand more than used ones!

The we see the dealers start to explode, a load of unsold stock, low margins, massive overdrafts, no punters, PCP bikes being returned in droves, few signing up for new ones an nobody with the cash for the used ones.....

....Save your hard earned folks, some deals around the corner!

yep. Can see it coming yet some bike dealers still refusing to budge. Squeezing that last bit of willing cash before it gets worse?

Wanted to order a Hypermotard but just wasn’t willing to do anything so walked away. In no rush.

Things ain’t getting better soon. Even those with a decent wage will start raising eyebrows at basic costs and doing the sensible thing and culling excess.

Bah humbug 🤣

HI, I have a 2023 ktm 1290 super adventure s, I can't see the navigator, can any of you help me?
It's a beautiful bike, it's the second ktm I've bought and this one is phenomenal, but I can't see the navigator and I need it for travel
Massimo
Hi,

I think you need to get the MyRide app for your phone. Some info on setting up in this video here

Cheers,

Ian

The satnav is rubbish. Do not see the point of it at all as its just a "next turn" indicator (and distinace time etc) on the dash. You need the MyRide KTM app to show the actual map.

I thought it would be something like a full-on map display on the dash.

The only advantage I see over using your phone and Google Maps is you can select the "recent" destinations via the bike menu switch. And answer your phone if that is your thing....

Prefer my phone and sena on their own tbh.

I'd be interested in a new one if they start doing some deals.

Always a sucker for a discount. Never could walk past a bike dealer with a big sale sign in the window, but you never see that anymore?

I blame finance / PCP etc.
You're not wrong, I looked at pcp but it wasn't right for me, luckily I'm getting some cash from a payout after my bike was written off 4 weeks ago (thanks to the blind tradesman that reversed into the bloody bike) so I'm not having to go down the pcp/loan route, hopefully that may stand in my favour if I buy from a dealer?
