Afternoon!

I know this has been talked about a gazillion times on here aswell as other forums, but I need a little help to decypher my chassis and engine numbers. I want as much info about the bike as I can, due to rebuilding it and needing bits.

Whenever I try or put them in to a tool, it comes back with no hits.. I just can't seem to read the numbers correctly due to years of wear on them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like some of the numbers are double stamped, for example it looks like two 5's overlayed with each other.

Did a search on the number I see and it also came back stating no information at this time...

Got some luck here, VBKMX23552M122771 -VIN DecoderKTM
That's the same as what I got but didn't know weather it not to trust it.

I thought the same with the number 5s but bought the bike from a local bike shop so thought they would have spotted if there was something iffy?

Who's DW? Sorry I havnt been here long.
possibly its a 2T 125SXS from 1997; if search for ktm engine 7-503* I get several hits...

frame number doesn't have to be dodgy just because it looks dodgy, my former Duke 620 VBK wasn't recognised at any of the dealer network portals, only the engine number was recognised and with all the bits on it was identified/confirmed as a 99.9%certain duke I from 1994.
Do you mean that's what the chassis number comes back from? The bike it's self looks to be around the 08/09 model as you can see from the picture. Im at a loose end with this to be honest. I have compiled all the corispondance I had with the original seller etc just incase the bike is bent and I need to prove in not the thief
