Garmin Zumo 550 won't turn on

Following an overnight soaking sat in its cradle my previously faultless 550 now won't turn on. It worked the preceding day without issue, but now I can't get any life into it despite mounting it in the car cradle and using the mini USB charging point overnight.
Can anyone shed any light or better still recommend someone to repair it? Loath to bin it as I like the way it works plus I have all the cradle etc.
I've ordered a new battery in the meantime, but I can't see that being the cause?

Better question.. How much you asking?

I.. Have you tried taking the battery off to force a reset?... And leave it somewhere warm with the battery off (like your boiler room) for a week to dry out, before you give up hope.
