hi from greece! i own a 2004 ktm exc 125 and loving it. But its time for a change. 10 years ago i rode a 2005 ktm exc 200 and didnt like the powerband so much. i sold it to buy a new 250 but run out of money (greek crisis im sure youve heard) so i end up few years later with the old but trusty 125. im not a spring chicken (42) but im very thin (62kilos) so i think ill give a 2nd chance to 200. i use to have a brand new 2003 wrf 450 and hated it and every time i ride a 250 and 300 smokers i kinda feel they are africa twins compared to my 125.
so my questions are: if i buy the next gen 200's (08-11) with the 36 carb and if i install the small 125 like expansion chamber (like the ktm 200 sx has) will the bike has smoother more 125 like power, or the weird cylinder dimensions 200 has will always be a problem for smooth delivery from bottom to high revs?
and also if i buy a 2008 model can i revalve the forks to work similar to the all new 2009 model forks, or whatever i do 2009 forks will be always far superior?
thx and merry xmas
