I'd say optimate as they use the sea connection of which you can use the tail for plugging other stuff in like torches and USB sockets etc etc....

I've got a noco jump box which is good quality... Not a charger, just an observation of the quality of their products

My FE battery went flat a while back, it had done an enduro play day so I did a lot of stopping and starting, waiting for mates to catch up, or just stopping to swop bikes. Then wheeled it about to wash, a bit of maintenance and on / off workbench.

Came to start it and found it a bit flat, not sure how much power it uss each time it "come on" when wheeled about, assumed it was just LCD that used next to no power, but perhaps it powers up ECU and draws fair bit?

Could of just been the stop / start on the play day, been fine of trail ride since then.

I just banged my "normal" optimate on it for about an hour as I had nothing else, but never leave it connected to our other bikes, I just pop it on them for about an hour once a month through winter.

Lead acid are designed for float charge, i.e., constant power draw with a constant low recharge rate - ideal for all current automotive applications which have been designed for them.
Lithium optimum usage is deep discharge (to less than 30% of capacity) then only a full recharge (at a faster rate than lead acid), float charging is not ideal for the life of a lithium. Unfortunately the world associates any reference to a battery as lead acid and the fundamental differences aren't appreciated. Its one reason lithium isnt being widely used in the automotive world as a different charging system is ideally required. A lithium on a bike will work fine but you won't get the optimum life from it. Also, when they die thats it - no recovery to anything worthwhile. (P.S. I work in design of the battery backup systems so whilst I'm certainly no expert I've picked up the odd nugget of info.) I run a lithium on my R9T, but on my touring bike I stick with a high output option lead acid
