Size of Lower Coolant hose between rads

I want to replace the lower coolant hose marked ‘7’ in the diagram…it’s a 99 lc4 640 and I think over the years the clips have worn through it so playing it safe.

But for the replacement part from Ktm dealers it’s about £30!

isn’t this just a piece of coolant hose - or am I missing something special that means I have to buy the Ktm version? And if it is just coolant hose what size is it/how do I work it out (18x25 is the description but that doesn’t tell me if inch/inside diameter/mm width etc)

Can you not just measure the one you've got?
Or measure the outlets on the rads to get internal diameter, and measure how far apart they are to get the length.

Not for a while - and trying to order in advance of getting to the bike so can replace there and then - hence asking if anyone knows.

I’m assuming it’s also a case of being pressure rated to the right level?

I would think that the 18x25 refers to the id and od in mm. Measure the od and see if it's 25mm.

I bought just a standard hose in an auto shop selling cooling hoses as bulk goods. But can't remember the size, sorry.
