Don’t mind if they are a tad scruffy as I will put knobblies on them for trail riding days so I can keep the existing decent ones for road use.
Obviously 21” and 18” with cush drive hub for rear wheel.
Such as I’ve seen so far can’t be justified costwise.

Will SMC wheels work? I could use them for the road tyres.

I thought that after I posted. Going from 21” down to maybe 16” would make it tilt a bit wouldn’t it. :(

As per your earlier comment...hen’s teeth come to mind anyway.
I’ll just keep looking and see if anything crops up over the next few months.
I won’t be changing to knobblies at least until the beginning of March but will buy them in the new year so I’m ready to get them fitted.

Thanks Scuff but, unless I can find some ready made inexpensive enduro wheels I’ll not bother.

I’m barely going to trail ride from October through February so may as well just pay to have the tyres changed twice a year. I’m happy to miss a couple of winter rides and save myself £500 or so.

It’s even easier to pop them them five minutes down the road to the local indie bike workshop, have a cup of tea and a chat, pop home and then pick them up in the evening.
