hi all
I was doing an oil change on the 690 earlier, as the bike was on the stand I thought I’d just warm the engine up on the stand and go up and down the gears a bit. Anyway it was a bit rocky so I turned it off to go take it for a spin . I noticed a code on the dash F1A85 and the engine light came on. A quick google says something on the abs!, I thought it was just because the rear wheel was spinning and the front was stationary. I turned the bike on off a few times and took the bike for a spin . Everything works ok but the engine light has stayed on ? I’ve checked everything and there’s on leaks or something broke.
I was going to buy one if these odb readers for about £30 off eBay to plug in and clear the fault, will this work or should I just take it to the dealers computer?!
On the plus side the oil change was very easy!![emoji16]
Thanks
