dont wanna fuck the carbon matrix either !

Wossner Piston, chain, tensioner, gaskets, gear shift shaft cause mine is scored at the seal and leaking, 4x kibblewhite valves. And various new nuts etc. And a chain breaker/riveter.

Going to try and take pics through the whole process of the rebuild.

what was the cost of the rebuild kit pal ?

450 for everything. Would have been 60 cheaper without the gear change shaft. Forgot the 2 cam bearings too.

Currently in the middle of the rebuild now.

Not just today but over the last week:

Spankers 250 Exc Six days

Fitted map switch
Re-jetted
Fitted proper hand guards
Changed tyres
Fitted mousses
Greased the dry wheel bearings
Fitted new springs front and back

And all this before I've swung a leg over it - "Ready to Race"....
Given the weather forecast it'll probably be a few months till I can ride it properly!

Oh and the black finish on the rims isn't anodising it's a really cheap black paint which now has a chunk missing on every point I used a lever.. hmm.

Otherwise, can't wait to get out on it.

DCR did mine ÂŁ600 for rebuild........piston, rod, mains, camchain, tensioner and check valves etc 3 day turnaround, very good service

Thats very cheap for rod included buddy.

Got a good deal there especially to do the con rod and main bearings.

But 150 of mine was just the kibblewhite valves got busted on import tax from america. So with out valves and gear shaft would be 240? Ktm bits are nice and cheap I think.

Ive got mine all in bits now main bearings feel good and big end has zero play. Taken lots of pics so may do a write up.

SMR, put new rear tyre on, changed oil and filter, cleaned oil screen and give it a good clean
